Timesheets, voice notes and a real project board

Weekly sign-off for hours, a board your team can run projects on, and a chat you can talk into.

NewWeekly timesheets — people hand in their week, a lead approves or reopens it, and last week closes on schedule. Decide whether a week needs a signature at all; if someone edits a closed week, it comes back for review.

NewOne approval queue — timesheets and overtime in a single list, with one button that clears the routine requests and leaves the unusual ones for you.

NewProject board — lanes, drag and drop, priorities, filters, labels and milestones. Every ticket keeps its full history, with comments, @mentions and watchers.

NewVoice notes and video in chat — record straight from the message box, scrub through by waveform, and play videos inline. An @mention now points to a person, not just a word.

NewSign in with a passkey — on the web and on Android, with no password and no email code.

ImprovedThe web app is now fully available in English, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish, and every time is shown on your own clock, whatever time zone the company runs on.

ImprovedEvery project belongs to a team you choose, and an owner or admin can move it later. Teams can be archived instead of deleted.

Android beta and a rebuilt chat

The Android app enters closed testing on Google Play, and chat gets the polish it deserved.

NewAndroid app in closed testing on Google Play — timer, chat, approvals and finance on your phone, with sign-in via Google. Fixes now reach you without waiting for a store update.

NewFour languages — the Android app and every email now speak English, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish.

ImprovedReplies stay in the conversation (Pro) — quote the exact part of a message you are answering and jump back to it. Threads are still one tap away.

ImprovedDrafts follow you — an unsent message is saved to your account, so you can start it on the laptop and finish it on the phone.

NewEmoji picker and GIF search on the web. Photos arrive as albums with instant previews, and a file can be sent on its own, without a caption.

NewReport content — anyone can flag a message, file or channel name, and the workspace owner reviews every report in one place.

FixedUnread badges now clear the moment you read a channel, not a few seconds later.

Timer, projects, chat and finance, now in the browser at app.altorbit.app, plus an AI standup and a chat with your clients.

NewWeb app at app.altorbit.app — timer, projects, chat, leave, finance and company settings in the browser. Sign in with Google, and pass a signed-in session from laptop to phone with one link.

NewAI standup and chat recap — a daily standup card on Today and a 24-hour catch-up for any channel, paid from your workspace's AI credits.

NewChat with clients — each project can have its own thread with the client inside the portal. Clients can also review delivered files and decline an offer.

NewP&L by email on a schedule, plus compensation and overtime analytics on Pro.

ImprovedCompany holidays — they show up in team availability and are left out of leave day counts. The team leave calendar exports as an .ics file.

ImprovedMove a tracked session to another project, delete your own session, and export tracked time for the people you approve as CSV.

NewIn more than one workspace? Switch between them without signing out. Owners can hand over ownership, and the audit log gets search and CSV export.

Rates, earnings and a quieter inbox

July was about money that adds up and notifications that know when to stay quiet.

NewRate cards — set bill rates for the company, a team or a project and see which one applies. View the company P&L in another currency at daily ECB rates, with closed periods locked from edits.

NewFixed-price projects book their revenue next to hourly ones, and hourly contractors are fully supported.

NewMy earnings — everyone sees their monthly pay breakdown and a six-month chart. Expense reimbursements with receipt photos go through the same approval flow.

NewQuiet hours — set a do-not-disturb window and your notifications wait until it ends; a single channel can be silenced on its own schedule. Swipe to archive or delete, with undo.

ImprovedChat — small group DMs, read receipts, @channel and @here, a files and media tab in every channel, GIFs and a zoomable image viewer.

ImprovedProfiles get photos, skills, working hours and time zone. Invite links can carry a role, and members can ask to join another team.

FixedA night shift that runs past midnight can now be logged as one session.

Real margins and a client portal

The release where AltOrbit started answering the question agencies care about most: which work actually pays.

NewMargin engine — real cost per hour from salaries and contractor rates, project and company P&L, and margin per hour worked.

NewProject budgets with a burn-down chart and an alert before you cross the line. P&L exports to PDF, and reports can be shown in another currency at daily ECB rates.

NewClient portal — invite a client into their project's portal, where they file requests and agree on a budget with you before work starts.

NewApp lock on Android — fingerprint or PIN, and your earnings screen can ask again before it opens.

ImprovedTime blocks calendar — an hour grid, a week strip, a live "now" line and quick durations when you add a block.

NewCreate public or private channels, forward messages, and catch up on a busy channel with an AI summary.

ImprovedInvite codes are now short enough to read out over a call.

NewTeam chat with threads, reactions, file attachments, mute and search.

NewOvertime and compensation — caps per person, compensation proposed automatically if you turn it on, approval in bulk. Leads get a heads-up when someone is working too much.

NewInvite several people at once — paste up to 10 emails and see which invites went through.

NewSafer sign-in — magic-link sign-in, email verified with a 6-digit code, plus two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

ImprovedA weekly digest shows your own hours, overtime and kudos. Export your data or delete your account at any time.
